Version 0.49 — Magical Corruption


Another smaller update. We're basically at the end of the to-do list at this point. That might make the next update the official 1.0 release.

This version includes the following changes:

  • I finally added the rules for magical corruption! They're not long, but I wanted to make sure they were as comprehensive and concise as I could get them.
  • Added problems to the faction generation tables. This makes it easier to come up with whatever drives the faction and also adds some more things to consider when fleshing out the world.
  • Italicised the links to make them recognisable at a glance. I really dislike underlines in digital text, so this is the next best thing I guess.
  • Improved the Total Recall trait a bit and added contraptions to it.

And the following changes 10 hours later:

  • Changed the number of whiles available during settlement and dungeon exploration to 6. This makes it a bit more pressing.
  • Similarly, changed the number of moves for hex maps to 6 and added a rule for carrying over unspent moves to the next day. 

Coming soon:

  • Rules for ghosts. Probably the final page of planned actual rules...
  • Magic item generation tables. Turns out this wasn't worth it.
