The Day Has Come To End the Scourge Which Has Plagued our Lands for Lo These Many Years

This game was designed as part of the TTRPG Creation Jam - Feb 2023. The theme for this jam was ‘Fantasy Heartbreaker’.

The Day Has Come (etc.) is a fantasy tabletop roleplaying game designed to emulate a truly classic epic fantasy adventure, without any of the grittiness, edge, and realism that has seeped into the genre in the last century. It harkens back to a time when fantasy stories were ostensibly written for children, but also a time when children apparently had a Brobdingnagian vocabulary.

… This isn’t the most serious RPG ever, but it should be fully playable if everyone at the table has the right mindset. Try to think back to the fantasy stories you read or listened to as a kid and don’t take everything too seriously.  

The game is designed for a single session and does not require a dedicated GM.
